I am selling my 1997 Mazda Miata 2 door convertible. I have owned this car for a couple years and it was my daily driver to work where I got 30 MPG. I lost my job and stopped driving it. I have decided to sell this car. I put a few hundred miles on it after it sat for a little over a year. I put a new battery in the car and changed the oil. Car runs and comes with the 4 spoke axis wheels in the picture. It also has drilled and slotted rotors on all four corners. The body is straight and clean, the paint could use a wash and wax. The car currently does not pass smog. It passed the sniff test but it has 3 monitors that refuse to run. I took it to a repair station and they said everything is good and talked to a Mazda master mechanic and both said I need to preform numerous drive cycles to get the monitors to run. I am sick of going to the DMV for moving passes because the car is out of registration at the moment. All the fees have been paid and are current. If someone in California buys this car I am selling it as a running parts car and will not be providing a SMOG certificate. If someone out of state wants the car I have the title in hand and it is ready to be picked up. I will not ship.
