1971 Opel GT. Classic Opel GT true California. Automatic transmission model with the stock 1.9 4 cyl. engine. Body has been mostly prepped and is ready for a full sealer coat of primer. I had plans to paint it "Opel Orange", No cancer rust on the body including in the infamous battery tray/floor area. Floor boards are also pretty solid. A reported 56,XXX miles on this model, but don't know if they are the actual miles. Drives good and currently running ok, I converted it to the Weber 32/36 Carburator but could use some tuning still. I have the bumpers and rim beauty rings which were removed during the body work. I just recently reinstalled lights to move it around. No cracked or broken glass. Headlights rotate fine and lock in place. The dash top is in good condition. Also the "glove box" is intact.Door panel on driver side is missing and also the window rig needs to be replaced or repaired. the passenger door panel is in good condition and the window goes up and down no problem. Headliner is complete but does have some scattered minor rips. original Opel steering wheel. All glass is intact and the rear 1/4 windows to pop out about 3 inches for venting. Please keep in mind that this is a 40 year old car and not perfect. I bypassed the ignition and it has a push button starter but the key must be on. Just needs some refreshing up and a little TLC, I had plans to make it a daily driver but some things came up and is forcing me to sell.Speedometer needs repair but odometer still works. ********** PAYMENT TERMS ARE AS FOLLOWS: ********** I accept: C.O.D if you are local, m.o., cashier's check, personal check (allow to clear).
