Due to NON-PAYMENT BIDDER I,m having to relist my Galaxie. I will not except bids from any new or zero feedback bidders. I have lowered my reserve, and have a new buy now price!!!! Up for auction is a very nice 1967 Ford Galaxie 500. This car was purchased from an older gentleman that bought it for his wife because they had one when they were first married. After purchase he soon began to restore it for her. Sadly she passed away soon after the car was completed. The reason he sold the car was because he lost interest after her death. He was employed by Ford motor company for 30+ years. The car is a frame on restoration, the original color was light blue. The 390 was completely overhauled. The C-6 trans was rebuilt at the same time, both were painted and detailed before being installed. The interior was redone in a nice gray vinyl. I had a new exhaust system installed with aluminized 2 1/4 pipe from front to back with dual chambered mufflers that sounds great. The car runs and drives very well . The car comes with some pictures of the rebuild and receipts of the work, plus some hand written notes form the previous owner to the body shops. This is not a show car; it is a nice weekend or daily driver. The car is 44 years old and has some scratches and chips in the paint. The car has only one spot of rust on the drivers side lower quarter panel about 2 inches around. The drip rails above the doors could use some work. The car is about 90% done, it still needs some tweaking. All electrical and mechanical parts function properly. This car will not dissapoint. I have owned the car for several months and have enjoyed driving and cruising around to local car cruise ins. Must see it to appreciate.
