Finally the classic truck you've been looking for! I am the second owner of this great truck. It has been sitting in a farmer's barn for years, and I just got it. I was planning on making this my daily driver, but I just decided to move and I can't take it with me! My loss your gain. The engine is strong-223 six cylinder, I'm told this is a really heavy duty engine-with a stainless crank. According to the vin #, this engine was for heavy duty applications. The four-wheel drive works, the bed is really solid. Actually for a truck this age, it is in remarkable shape. I just started working on it to get it inspected, but I have run out of time so now I must sell it. It has a great bench seat that is in very good shape. Here is what I've done: new wheel cylinders, master cylinder, brake lines, fuel pump, distributor cap and rotor and new plugs, and got it running. The only remaining items to do before getting it inspected is, install a muffler, get new wipers, and replace one head light--all the other lights work, and tires. The carb needs to be adjusted (not familiar with it, so I didn't mess with it). as well. It looks to be completely stock except for a 4 speed trans that was put in, also, and I believe the rear suspension has been beefed up quite a bit. Email me if you'd like more pictures.
