Vehicle Detail

demuesy Store 1959 Sachs Hercules K100 German-built motorcycle. It has a 100cc 2-stroke Sachs engine. Very rare with chrome tank. Most were built with black tanks. This one was bought in Stuggart Germany then imported and titled in the U.S. in 1/9/1961. It would be a perfect Winter project for someone who has the time. Or possibly, would make a great decorative item in a restaurant or retail store. It has low miles (8791) and very little rust. I bought this as a project but I don't have the time and need the space in my garage. I have not tried to start the bike. It has a good compression. It will need a battery and most likely will need a full carburator cleaning. Since I don't have a 6 volt battery I haven't checked the electrical. The front light bulb looks to be functional but that's all I have determined. There is rust pitting on top of the chrome tank and the left cover is missing. I have the key for the ignition but am missing the key that opens the right side cover. The front and rear tires are original and should be replaced. I have the original California Title and Sachs engine repair manual. I can deliver the bike for a fee to anywhere in the Bay Area. For my international buyers, I can deliver to any Bay Area terminal for a fee. Please feel free to ask questions.
