Up for bid is a 2000 Honda Accord, green exterior with tan leather interior. This vehicle was running when it stopped. It has been sitting for a few months and had to be jumped in order to re-start it, but fired right up. This vehicle has not been driven since forfeited. Vehicle has a CD player, sun roof, aftermarket tinted windows, K&N type air filter with a Typhoon intake pipe. Vehicle has a 3.0 motor with automatic transmission. Odometer reads 149,137. It is unknown if this is original miles. We have no other information to tell you about this vehicle. On Nov-30-11 at 11:51:22 PST, seller added the following information: I will answer some questions that keep getting asked by several people. 1. Are there any noises or ticking sounds coming from the motor. We do not have a mechanic here at the Police Department so I cannot answer that question. As stated before, the car ran when stopped and has been sitting since. I have no information about the condition of the motor. 2. Are there any lights on the dash? I just went out to check and the battery is dead. There is nobody here from the DPW to jump this vehicle, so again I cannot answer this question. 3. How are the tires? The tires appear to be ok. They all hold air, the rear tires seem to be in better condition then the fronts. 4. Does the sunroof leak and does it function properly? I just checked inside the vehicle and I did not feel any wetness, So I am assuming it does not leak, but this information is not garaunteed. I cannot check to see if it works properly because the battery is dead. I am sorry, but I have no other information regarding this vehicle. Winning bidder will have to bring a pair of jumper cables, tow truck or mechanic to have the vehicle removed from our location for we shall not jump start or work on the vehicle for you.
