WHITE 1986 OLDSMOBILE NINETY EIGHT REGENCY BROUGHAM This has been a great car for my boyfriend and I! We have travelled from Wyoming to the west coast, all the way down to San Diego then all the way accross to Florida and back up to Pennsylvania. We've had no problems with it. Needed a new battery when we first purchased it, but that's all. We bought it in Wyoming about two month ago to travel across the states and now we've completed our journey and are returning home to the U.K. we need to sell it. The car runs well, starts first time. Has a 3.8ltr 6cylinder engine. Low mileage at only about 79,000. Doesn't really need any major work and if you're looking for a cheap car to get you from A to B this is it. Highway MPG i've found to be between 23-25mpg which is pretty good. Has 4 good tyres and a spare. All lights work, brakes fine, if i could afford uk fuel prices i would ship this car back! Exterior: There is a small dent in the rear fender which was there when we bought the car. Some of the trim is missing off the passenger side door and there is a small dent in it (again prior to our purchase). The cosmetic vinyl covering the roof is cracked (rain water does not leak into the car). The car is rust free, though there is one small patch about 1 inch by 1/2 inch near the trunk. The rear passenger side light has a small hole in it covered by duck tape. Interior:: Is pretty worn, the roof liner hangs down and has a hole in it, the driver side door control panel is loose as is the arm rest it is attached to. The seats could use a clean although you could just buy some cheap seat covers. The steering wheel cover has been fixed with tape and the horn does not work. the interior trunk release button does not work, but you can get into it using a key in the lock. Otherwise, the seats are comfy and adjustable, all other electrical functions (windows, seats, dash light) work save those mentioned. Has air con and front and rear window heaters.
