Vehicle Detail
NO RESERVE!!! Its gonna sell! I've decided to let her go! Just out of clean, dry, storage for a glimpse of sunlight. This 54 Chevy 2dr project car has NO MOTOR/TRANS. WAS a 6cyl/powergluide. Has stock torque tube rearend. All stock except chrome big and little smoothie wheels. Useable interior and glass. (needs windshield, cracked, still useable) Nice dash with the hard to find radio delete. Not molested. Bumpers are "core quality" with silver paint. Grill is pretty nice. Trunk has solid rear pan grafted on from a donor 4dr. Spare tire well is removed but have another(some people prefer to cover with metal-so it isn't installed) Also has NEW rear quarter patches installed but not filled(nothing to hide) Just has a coat of rattle can green to prevent surface rust. Has dent in roof(see pic)Will need inner rockers sometime as well as front quarter patches.Has a spot of rust on driverrs floor-easy fix(see pics) But for now she has great patina! Drop your motor/trans in and drive her as is. Add a straight axle and build a gasser! Or find a 235 6cyl and restore her to her original glory. Two doors are starting to vanish so don't let her get away! Good title-great way to own an affordable vintage chevy/winter project.Stock dog dish hubcaps plus extra parts go with car. Don't want to ship too bad -prefer buyer pickup. She rolls easy so bring your trailer. NO reserve. Here's your chance to buy a 54 Chevy -serious bidders only! happy bidding! On Nov-29-11 at 16:48:58 PST, seller added the following information: I've had a few emails about the floors etc. I took some pics of the body supports (2) that have rust out.(see last two pics I added) The rusted supports are in front of the rear tires(where they all rust). The surrounding metal seems solid so you'll need to buy or build 2 body supports and 1 inner rocker, The passenger side inner rocker looks surprisingly good. The floor, other than the rust spot near the drivers floor mentioned and shown above, looks nice and solid. The rest of the body braces look good as well. Hope this helps-Thanks
