Vehicle Detail

This 1953 Willys Wagon is a sharp looking Resto Mod. Given the style and changes made during restoration it would probably be classed as a street rod today. I believe that the restoration was completed in the early 90's and since then its been primarily in storage and driven sparingly.I personally received it as payment for work performed a couple of months ago. The prior owner is a personal friend who owned it since 94.The color is a sharp Cadillac Red. The interior is dated red carpet and what I would guess are Chevy red bucket seats. The speedometer works but I certainly cant guarantee the mileage. The body is exceptional with no rust evident anywhere. The paint is quite good as well with only a few minor chips. Power is provided by a Chevy 327 V-8 driving a TH350 automatic transmission. Features include power steering, tilt steering wheel, B&M shifter, 9" Ford rear end, GM dual hydraulic brakes, electric wipers, AM-FM stereo cassette, and a sun roof. The engine has headers, A Holley carburator, Edelbrock intake manifold, and what I suspect is a performance camshaft. She fires immediately, runs strong, and sounds great. Wheels are chrome and have some pitting but overall still look good. Tires were probably new at restoration and still look that way. She drives fine. Gauges are all functional and every thing seems to work as it should. Rubber window seals are cracked from age. It also may be worth noting that this willys looks to have begun life as a 4X4 and was converted to RWD during restoration. Reserve is set low as I intend to turn the Willys into cash sooner rather than later. Ive never sold anything on e-bay so I may not have answered all of your questions. Please feel free to ask any and every question you may have or contact me to schedule a personal viewing.I will do my best to give you honest input on what your getting. This vehicle is located in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Good luck on your bids
