1979 Suzuki PE 175 This bike is mostly original and intact. Can to be from a local customer who traded it in towards a newer bike. I had this bike running about 1 year ago. Carb leaked gas out overflow due to wrong float installed and hanging up on internals. I have the correct new OEM float and some other new carb parts to go with the bike along with a spare used cylinder and head as well. This bike has brand new shorter than stock rear shocks (Progressive) on it- as installed by previous owner. Last time I ran it all the lights worked including rear brake light. There is some play on the crankshaft when pulling up and down on the flywheel - I would recommend rebuilding the engine, since it is noisy and those bearings seem worn. Shifts thru all the gears fine. Bike is set-up to be street legal in VT with a horn and Trail Tech computer. The shift lever has been tack welded to the shift shaft - I think that can be ground off and salvaged pretty well. Otherwise mostly stock bike from what I can tell. It's possible this is a 1978 model, but I can't be certain - I'll leave that to the experts....
