Beautiful 02 R1100S (ABS model/heated grips) with only 17,175 miles. I am the 3rd owner (bought bike last year) and have at least most if not all the service records - always dealer serviced in SoCal most recently at BMW Motorcycles of Riverside. Up to date with services. Very good tires and brakes - oil change due in about 1000 miles. It's a very clean bike which has always been garaged. It has been completely reliable during the time I've owned it and I wouldn't hesitate to ride it any distance! The only things I did to the bike was firstly to install RD Barbacks. (The installation didn't require new cables so they could be easily removed by a new owner.) I also installed a new Cee Bailey tinted sports shield as the shield it came with was not original and not as good as the Cee Bailey shield. I have done my best with the pictures to show how the bike looks from various angles. Obviously it's not brand new being nine years old but for an 02 it's in great shape! The Highway bags are in great shape (probably would cost about $500.00 if you bought a good used set - I do not have City lids btw) and are each large enough for a full face helmet, locks are keyed to the bike, and very easy to remove or install in seconds. I have kept them on most of the time. The bike is also fitted with a BMW accessory outlet which can be used either for charging your battery or attaching a heated vest for example - very useful - I will include the SAE plug converter cable necessary for most battery tenders. Currently registered until December in California with clear title. I am selling because I'm not going to be riding sport bikes (my back!) any more otherwise I would happily keep riding it - it is a fantastic machine!
