HAS CHEVY 350 ENGINE NOT THE STRAIGHT 6 LISTED ABOVE The engine on this Jeep has roughly 47k miles on it, its a Chevy engine . Jeep odometer reads 151,XXX. Just put new manifold gaskets on it but there is still a oil pan gasket leak according to the mechanic. Mechanically the jeep runs good, shifts like it should. It has a 3 speed tranny in it. I bought this Jeep a few months ago before getting a job offer to move downtown Chicago, so I don't want the hassle of having a car in the city. Other than the oil leak I have not noticed anything else wrong mechanically with it besides the dipstick is snapped off from the header pressing against it (that is why I am included an extra set of headers incase the new owner wants to change them so they can actually use a dipstick to read the oil level). It's not a major problem, I just added oil every few days which is kind of a pain but I'd rather be safe than sorry. The mechanic said the engine is in excellent running condition and offered to buy the jeep from me for a low ball offer but I figured I would take my chances on here first. The door handle on the driver side needs replaced or needs a metal piece welder to it. The door can only be opened from the inside. I found the part on Ebay for $10 and it's only a few screws that need taken out to replace it. Easy fix. EMAIL ME IF YOU WOULD LIKE ADDITIONAL SPECIFIC PICS! There is not much rust at all on this Jeep! The floorboard is in great condition! -4'' lift kit -Newer Carburetor (could use tuned up according to previous owner that put it in. There is white smoke from tailpipe and I was told that it's because of the carb needing tuned) -Newer Thompson and nice wheels. -New starter -Newer Radiator -Extra set of headers included -New custom built console and carpet -CD Player -Hardtop (easily removed by 8 bolts) -Push bar in front -Adjustable racing seats (small burn hole in the driver side seat) -Vinyl wrapped outside to prevent rust and paint chipping Email with any questions and I will try to answer them to my best knowledge or I can try to ask the previous owner. It is smoking quite a bit.
