1977 Ford F250 4x4 High Boy, Camper Special. Automatic with 400. A/C. This vehicle has been in the family for years. I aquired a few months ago with the idea of complete restoration. Due to finances this will not be an option for me. Very sad to see it leave. What I do know about the truck: Camper special, overload springs, bumper slides to fit camper, tie downs through body, transmission cooler, solenoid and extra battery holder for camper. A/C works, when I was starting to work on the truck I charged A/C and it blew cold. already converted to 134A. I believe it may have small leak because I tried the other day and it is not as cold as it was. Body and Frame Rust Free, On the skid plate for front tank there is a small rust patch, I believe that water was getting in there when it rained and there was nowhere to go. The 400 is a few years new crate motor with low miles but it apparently has flat spot in camshaft. It runs and I drive it without problems but number 1 cylinder push rods removed. I am not a mechanic but was told by a shade tree mechanic there was a flat spot on camshaft. I aquired the vehicle like this so I have limited information. Since it drives it was low on my priority list. The transmission shifts well through all gears and the 4 wheel drive works without complications. I have replaced the shifter housing, it was broke when I had gotten truck. While doing so I didnt line up nuetral safety switch. I starts fine there is an over-ride under the dash. Speedometer works but fuel guage doesnt all other guages seem to work. Tires are in good shape and the interior is not destroyed, Glass is all intact. The vehicle is Sold As-Is, I have done my best to include anything I would want to know If I was buying a vehicle. There is No Rust on Body including Bed It does have the Camper special Badges and tool box bed I believe it has Race track chrome package I do have chrome bezels for the rear tailights but not pieces for bed The 94000 miles is what odometer reads and is functioning, not guaranteed mileage.
