This 1982 Suzuki GS1100E needs a new home. This Suzuki model was the highest rated motorcycle of 1982 and was one of the fastest and best handling for its time and is still respected today for those attributes. I had hopes of doing a complete restoration, but medical issues have stopped that plan. The bike starts up fine, shifts good, and feels very strong. I had a couple of these before and only have had this one for a short time and do not know the history on the bike. Looks like a factory replacement engine case. I do not know why it was changed. I have some extra parts for the bike that will go to the new owner. The brakes feel good, all lights are working. The battery is fairly new. The handle bars are not stock but should be okay for most riders. It has a Vance and Hines header (sounds very good). I was told the carbs were already jetted to match the exhaust. Also has an engine oil cooler. The tires are all very good, not sure how many miles on them(not many). This is not a new bike and is not perfect. The side covers have the usual broken tabs and the rear body piece is broken on the right side. The tank is in pretty nice shape overall, with original paint and lettering. The seat is in great shape. It had been recovered at some time and has the passenger grab strap in place. No owners book or tools. I have found almost every replacement part is available thru a Suzuki parts dealer for very good prices. This bike could be used and ridden as is or do a full restoration. The bike came from New York and it looks like it was not left outside, no rust. The aluminum cases could use some polishing. I have a clear New York State title and the buyer will get a bill of sale from me. The motorcycle is being sold AS-IS WITH NO WARRANTY.
