Vehicle Detail
PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION THAT FOLLOWS BEFORE BIDDING, THANK YOU!! I am offering for auction a rat rod project that I have had for a couple of years now, but as times got tight the IH fell by the wayside. Please note that there is NO RESERVE and an INSANELY LOW starting bid... I can't fund it's completion and I need it gone. Here are some auction specifics; the winning bidder MUST have a PayPal account (no exceptions) and at least a 10 feedback score. If you have ZERO FEEDBACK-DON'T BID. The winning bidder must pay in full within SEVEN DAYS of auction close. The winning bidder is responsible for pick up and transporting vehicle within 30 days of auction close. There will be someone available (Mon-Fri 9:00AM-3:00PM EST) to assist in loading the vehicle so bring a truck a trailer and wratchet straps!! If you need assistance on any other day or time, please communicate that to me and I will arrange it. If the winning bidder needs more than 30 days to move the vehicle, than a $3.00 per day storage fee WILL APPLY. So that means it will cost $90.00 for an extra 30 days, for example. DESCRIPTION: FIRST OF ALL... I have a clean/clear title in my name and I will also provide you with a bill of sale to assist you with your process of obtaining a title. I am not parting out this vehicle, please don't ask. Bid on the whole vehicle. There is no motor or transmission, it is NOT road worthy. It was a 6 cylinder with 4 speed manual. The mileage appears original (although Virginia DMV says otherwise) I believe it was a forestry service vehicle, it was originally dark green on the exterior and the same color shows internally as seen in some of the pictures. The original inline 6 cylinder had a PTO that came out of the front through an opening in the bottom section of the front grill. The front fenders/hood are removed but INCLUDED in this auction. The wooden floor in the rear area has been removed, both saddle gas tanks were removed, exhaust was removed. The floor in the "cab" area is still there but its pretty rusty. I had a local welder cut the frame in the rear and weld the rear frame/suspension/rear end assembly from a 1970 IH pick up truck on top of the Travelall frame to give it a lower stance. The front of the frame/suspension is original and unchanged. It has lots of cracked glass including the windshield. The passenger door glass came off track and is inside the door (not missing) but may be cracked. The hood is in really good shape, it has the handles on each side to lift from either side or take completely off, works great!! The front fenders are rough with rust around the front turn signals. The rear fender on the passenger side has a big dent, drivers side is ok. All of the doors (including the rear barn doors) have rust on the bottoms. The original AM radio, gauges and ash tray are STILL in the vehicle. The seat is bad. I have tried to describe it as best as possible, but if you have ANY questions please call me during daylight hours (Eastern Standard Time) and I will answer ANY questions you might have. My number is 540-871-0630. My name is Jeremy, thank you for looking at my auction. Update: I made a slight listing error, the front of the frame has been altered. It has been shortened roughly 6 inches. I was going to have the front boxed in to put a "suicide" style axle on the front. The frame "ears" are uncut, but the crossmember for the front center motor mount was cut (IH had a weird way of mounting the engine) nothing too serious.
