Up for auction is my 1962 Spider Normale. I bought this car from a gentleman in Las Vegas. He bought the car from California for his son. He had the drivetrain, engine and transmission rebuilt. He had the car painted the original ALFA Rosso. His son did not want the car and it sat unfinished for a year or so. While the car was in storage, many parts walked off. I bought the car thinking I had a deal, but the missing parts ended up totalling over $6,000. After accumulating the missing parts, I had the car restored. There were no rust problems, but it needed to be repainted. All the brightwork was rechromed, the interior redone, and a new top. The seat frames were missing and we installed seats from a Miata. The restoration was just completed with the car in perfect running order. All of the gauges work, as well as the lights and horn. I can forward several photos during the restoration if you want them.
