Hello.Up for auction is a Rare Volkswagen camper van,with automatic transmission,and complete a/c.This van is very clean,straight,and rust free.The engine has only 30,000 miles on it since its complete rebuild.It is the 1835 motor that has a single carb.It runs and drives perfectly.When the rebuild was being done,the transmission was taken apart and inspected,with no rebuild needed,it shifts as smooth as ever.The ac is complete,but will need some new parts to work again,such as new hoses,and possibly some new seals.It has not worked for years,but is complete.Here is a list of what has been done to it in the past 3 years. Rebuilt engine New paint New carpet New tires-at 80% now New brakes New canvas top-Genuine VW New windshild-2 chips now All new lenses New emblems New pop top seal The interior is in very good over all shape,with the exception of a couple of small cracks in the original formica,and a couple of cracks in the dash.The original jump seat that goes behind the drivers seat,was taken out before I got it,and I replaced it with another cabinet for extra storage,and a place to put a 2 burner stove.The front seats are original and nice,as well as the door panels.The rear seat that folds down into a bed has been redone,as well as the cushion behind it.All in all this van is in remarkable shape for its age.If you have any questions,feel free to ask.Thank you.
