This is a 1956 Ford F100 Pickup with custom cab. The truck spent it's life in Calif. and Nevada. The body is in very good to excellent condition, the doors open and close super nice. I can't find any dents in the body, the seat has been replaced. The paint is original & 2 tone for this vehicle. I hold clear title to this vehicle. I bought this pickup at an estate sale, I was told by the family that their dad removed the engine and trany, he wanted to install a newer engine and trany. He passed away before he could complete this project. The original engine and trany are sitting in the back of the truck and come with it. He never bought a new one. The family also said the truck was running and driving when he removed the engine and trany. I can't guarantee that this is correct. It has a nice chrome grill. Take a look at the pictures to see parts that he removed but go with the truck. It needs to be trailered. The wood bed needs to be replaced. I tried to describe this honestly. The odometer reads 44,562.7, I would say that it probably is 144,562? The paint color is a color used on that year Ford truck, I don't know if it was original paint or not. 2. The engine and transmission sitting in the back of the truck are apparently newer then 1956 according to the emails from viewers. 3. There are 2 rusted areas on the very back bottom of the cab (1 on each side) that are rusted through. There is a supplier in Arizona who stocks these replacement patches for $30.00 each.
