******** PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE BIDDING ************ THIS IS A FRAME OFF RESTO- READY TR-4A (WOULD ALSO MAKE THE ULTIMATE PARTS CAR FOR THE MONEY) THIS TR-4A HAS BEEN IN MY FAMILY FOR OVER 20 YEARS AND HAS BEEN THREATENED WITH RESTORRATION NUMEROUS TIMES. IT WAS OBTAINED IN ITS CURRENT STATE OF DISASSEMBLY AND ONLY MOVED FROM SIBLING TO SIBLING. IT IS VERY COMPLETE MECHANICALLY IN REGARDS TO MAJOR COMPONENTS AND IS JUST A LITTLE SHORT AS FAR AS GUAGES GO. THE INTERIOR TRIM IS MOSTLY THERE WITH NEW DASH TOP AND WOOD FACIA TRIM. THE ENGINE IS FRESH REBUILD ( 20 YEARS AGO WITH NO MILES) A SECOND COMPLETE PARTS ENGINE IS INCLUDED WITH THIS PACKAGE. gENERATOR/ STARTER CARBS DISTRIBUTOR ETC INCLUDED. TWO TRANSMISSION IN PACKAGE ...ONE 4 SPD SYNCRO AND 1 4 SPD W/ OVERDRIVE TWO REAR ENDS ...ONE STOCK GEAR AND ONE 4:11 LOCKER RACING REAR-END THE CHASSIS IS A ROLLER READY TO HAVE THE BODY LIFTED FOR RESTORATION 4 MINI-LITE WHEELS ARE MOUNTED ON CAR WITH FRESH NON-MATCHING RUBBER TO MAKE IT A FULL ROLLER HIGH BACK BUCKETS FROM A LATER MODEL TR250 ARE WITH CAR ALL TRIUMPH PARTS THAT ARE IN OUR POSSESION WILL BE INCLUDED WITH THE SALE OF CAR TR-3 STEERING WHEEL ETC... I had a buy it now of 3500.00 but e-bay dropped it off. I will check the engine for free movement, it did when I first got it in the early 90's. The drivers door stop has allowed door into fender...see photo. I found a new convertible top that has never been installed...see photo. I turned the motor over by hand (wrench really) no hitches no problems. I also found a box with TR-3 trim parts, tail-light bases, door handles,trunk latch , small things and a lot of nuts and bolts. My family has had TR's in it since my Dad bought one new in 1959 and this box is just extras....the female connectors for side-curtains are in that box also.
