Vehicle Detail

Here ya go! 2002 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Cabriolet 6spd finished in Seal Gray on black leather. This 1 owner, clean CarFax beauty is loaded with tons of options as you can see on the original window sticker (to many options to list) and is in VERY good shape virtually needing nothing but a new loving home. Car has been meticulously maintained by Hendrick Porsche in Charlotte NC and has been pampered throughout It's young life, having never seen snow and being detailed regularly. Everything on this 911 works as intended and is as turnkey as turnkey gets! Mechanically car needs nothing! Tires are very good, showing only minimal wear. Brakes are like new and were changed less then a yr ago. Everything works as intended including all electrical and mechanical. 6spd transmission is smooth, clutch is strong,AC blows cold and heat blows hot. Power windows, seats and convertible top all work flawlessly. Mechanically I give it a 10 out of 10 Exterior looks looks great with nice shiny paint, no dents, scratches or wrecks. However, the front fender and hood have been repainted due to a small incident in my driveway. I had the paintwork done by the best body shop in town with no expenses spared and I truly cant tell that it has ever been done. Exterior I would rate a 9 out of 10 Interior is in vary good shape as well showing only normal wear on the driver seat. No rips, tear or stains anywhere and I would rate the interior a solid 9 out of 10 I have owned over 10 Porsche's in my life ranging from Boxter's and 944's to 911 coupes, cabs and even 2 Turbo's! To me this ranks right up there with my all time favorites because of its ability to be driven as a everyday driver(which it has been for awhile now) and the top down enjoyment that comes with its awesome performance. Just a side note, If looking for a 996 Porsche be sure to take note that the 02-04 996's are the best of breed in that they dont have all of the major inherent problems the 99-01 911s with the 3.4 liter engine had. Including rear main seal issues and the dreaded intermediate shaft bearing problem. Both are catastrophic and require complete engine rebuilds or swaps. The 02 had numerous upgrades from the previous year including the 2 major problems I listed remedied as well as a new headlight design(no Boxster headlights here!), an engine increase from 3.4 to 3.6L, hp increase from 296hp to 320hp just to name a few. The only reason I am selling it is that I am in the market for a Ceyanne Turbo. I have been wanting one for a long time and now the market and price is right for me to move on and get one. I am truly a Porsche fan and will own many more to come so if you have any further questions feel free to ask. Thanks and good luck! Call if you have any questions 304 617 2946
