For Sale My 1972 Corvette Coupe. Very Good condition, easy restoration project or put tires on it and drive as-is. Base 350 engine with 4-speed trans., great frame with a small spot of rust on the driver's side of the birdcage. Very nice interior, odom. reads 38K plus(don't know if original miles). Older paint, aftermarket L-88 style hood with 1 small chip(easy fix). Engine runs good and trans. shifts good. I purchased the car in 2009 and have only driven it twice. All but one or two of the tires on the car are flat(old tires). The hood and front grills are currently off of the car, the grills are in a box in my basement, the hood is also in my basement. When I first purchased the car the fuel line had a cut in it just about a foot above the fuel pump, since then I have cut the metal fuel line at the point of the cut, and installed a new rubber line and filter leading to the carb. I haven't checked the numbers, but as far as I know the engine, trans., manifold and carb., are all original. It does have aftermarket headers. It does not have the original headlights, I have since purchased a pair of used Monza-style fixed headlights that come with the car. I do have maintenance records of break work from the last owner, the breaks are very good except for the parking break, which does not seem to hold the car too well on moderate inclines. All in all a very nice project which is breaking my heart to sell(in come the tiny violins), I had hopes of restoring or hot rodding the Vette but my failure is your gain. The car is being sold as-is(sob sob), with no warranty or returns(sniff sniff), clear title. Must pick up in person, I WILL NOT arrange shipping. Payment can be made in person via CASH.
