We are selling Auction Style, No Reserve, so Don't miss out on this Deal !!! _________________________________________ BMW 740 IL Sport M Dark Blue on Tan 203K highway miles Lots of extra options, read below. Originally, we bought this car for my boyfriend from a family in Wexford, PA (Pittsburgh), so original miles are highway miles from Wexford to Pittsburgh daily. When we bought it, the previous owners said that they maintained the car well, and we believe so because car is indeed in good condition for its age. Since we bought this car, it was mostly driven in South Carolina. The rear seat has marks in the leather from the child seat being mounted there (previous owners). Also, the rear driver side door was dent at some point, and we had it straitened out without the repainting. The paint has chipped since then, so you may want to repaint the rear driver side door at some point. However, it opens and operates properly so you don't have to repaint it. Car has parktronics sensors, but rear bumper is missing one. Our guess is that it fell inside the bumper, so for now we removed the fuse to disable the annoying parktronics sound when backing up. Breaks are fine on it, but mechanic said that the car needs rear right ABS sensor replaced (ABS warning light comes on sometimes). Since we selling the car, we decided not to do the repairs ($180 for the sensor). Also, car will need a battery. Right now it has original BMW battery, which lasts about 1 week of not driving the car till it discharges. If car is driven daily or every other day, it holds enough charge to functions fine. Car has 4:3 BMW navigation as well as 6 CD-Changer in the trunk. Casette player is converted into an iPod/iPhone integration (or any RCA capable device). It has an inline amplifier mounted on the passenger side for audio-in as well as iPhone charger, with a sinlge cord coming out that plugs in direclty into bottom of iPhone both for sound and charging functionality. The inline aplifier is fully hidden and is not visible from outside. Both front/rear side windows and rear windshield are tinted dark (darkest legal level allowed). Engine sounds very nice. It is hard to believe how good the car sounds with these many miles. We love this car -- the way it handles on the road, and for its high MPG. Our on-board computer shows 28 MPG even now, when the car is this old. This car has metal chain for the timing belt that lasts lifetime. So no surprisies with timing belt going bad. Air conditioning blows cold air in summer. Also, we just did oil change so no oil change is needed. Car had no major accidents as far as we know. When we were in California on Route 1, we ran over a big rock, so bottom part of front bumper got a little crack that was patched with a metal sheet, almost not visible from outside. We also had to replace fog light and add missing ambient temperature sensor. All controller arms were checked out, and they had no damages. Besides this, car has usual wear and tear, so small dings here and there, nothing major. Few dots that missing paint, and few scratches on front and rear bumpers from on-street parking in Pittsburgh. Of course the car comes with such options as heated seats, power seats and windows, etc. Most importantly, it comes with "M" package which gives you really nice looking M rims with BMW M series logo on them as well as better steering and more. It has other minor issues typical to all E38 series, such as some dead pixels on the text readout display, glove box being hard to open, FM antenna not amplifying well, etc. You can read about dealing with these common issues on E38 dot org website. Overall, the car looks very sharp. You could not tell it is year 2000 by the looks at all, it looks much newer. We selling both this car and the other car we have (2003 Land Rover Discovery SE7) because we are moving, and we want to buy single newer family car once we settle. So nothing wrong with the car mechanically besides what I mentioned above as far as we know. But of course, since we are a private party, car is sold AS-IS. Location: Right now my boyfriend is visiting New York City, and car will be located in zipcode 11235 Brooklyn NY (exit 7 off Belt Parkway) where it can be viewed and test driven. Buyer is responsible for scheduling pickup and title transfer. But we could arrange that we drop it off to you if you leave in near-by major cities for additional $250 to cover our travel expense. Paypal deposit required, and payment in cash, or check (check must clear bank before title exchange). My boyfriend can be reached at 917-434-0202 (David) and I can be reached at 917-434-0321 (Anita) if you would like to look at the car. if you see no pictures, we have not taken them yet. we will add them on Nov 11. We are selling Auction Style, No Reserve, so Don't miss out on this Deal !!! On Nov-11-11 at 15:49:15 PST, seller added the following information: I was asked if car comes with a donut tire. Car includes same M style full spare rim and tire. Also, jack and tools are in proper spots. CD changer magazine is also included. Both lighter plugs are functioning, and both lighters are present and working. Car even comes with the original owners manual and papers. Don't hesitate to ask me more questions.
