Vehicle Detail
For No-Reserve Auction: An automobile Loved since assembly. Second Owner 1991 325iX coupe, 5 speed manual transmission with 204,000 (actually 203,XXX now). I have extremely high standards and want to keep EBay's integrity as an active member for over a decade. I will list this car in it's entirety and leave nothing unanswered; and if you have any further questions, ask (all questions are posted). The car is mint without any issues except for (AKA: "The Bad"): The windshield is cracked. Not bad; and certainly not bad enough that I minded enough to have it changed. There is a small amount of rust in two places on the vehicle: under the rear badge on the right of the trunk (see photo) and under the rear of the passenger door (see photo). There is a dent on the left rear skirt (see photo). There is a dent on the passenger door (see photo). There is a dent on the rear corner of the front left fender (see photo). The trim over the passenger door is missing; no leaks. There is a dent on the trim on the driver door (see photo). The paint is original and needs redone. The left front fender had a deer strike and was replaced with a Cinnabar Red fender and not Brilliant Red; in certain lights you can and can't notice. The AC was working until half-way through the Summer. I've never fixed it as I rarely use AC living in the mountains. There are two VERY small cracks in the dash (typical of the E30), the camera didn't pick them up, but they are there. No Hubcaps. They weren't there when I purchased the car.As an avid owner, I have keep the car meticulously maintained and running far above standard for E30's, let alone 325iX's (AKA: The Good):Maintained at the Highest Level - Never Abused Drives Strong - Steering is Stiff and this car doesn't "rattle" at allNear Mint InteriorIncludes All Maintenance RecordsNew Engine at 170,XXXAll Fluids & Filters Routinely Checked and Serviced. Including: Lubricating the All Wheel Drive Wheel Spleen, Transmission, Transfer Differentials, and Sunroof cables. The brakes are new all around within 3000 miles; Pads and Rotors.Ski BagSnow Tires with 75% Tread LeftHeated SeatsBlack-Out GrillIlluminated "M" ShifterAll-Weather Custom Tan Rubber Floor MatsAlpine CD/MP3 Player with Upgraded Speakers Cold Start Video: http://youtu.be/TTM7euqHjGo I once had a BMW master tech who opened his own garage look at my car to inspect the drive-train and he stated that he's never seen a 325iX in this good of condition. New seals around all the bushings and a clean engine, he said that, "Someone really took care of this thing and knew what to take care of.." He offered me $500 for my driver seat on the spot. I remember asking him how I'd drive home, HaHa! I didn't take him up on it, but let me tell you, that was a good feeling. Originally I purchased this car with the intention to fix what little was wrong with it cosmetically and restore it to 100%. However with a baby on the way, this toy must go! If you have any further questions concerning this car, please contact me. If you have 0 Feedback, contact me before bidding. Bid to Win. Trusted E Bayer for over a decade; bid with confidence. Car is Located in Aspen, Colorado for pick-up only; buyer to arrange for shipping/pick-up. The car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Thanks for looking and good luck!On Nov-13-11 at 21:25:29 PST, seller added the following information: Question from member attempted to post: 1. A/C compressor: Are hoses intact? Is belt still on pulley, and if so does it rattle or make noise?2. What size are wheels, 14" or 15"? 3. Do you have summer tires/wheels?4. Are transmission and final drives oils synthetic? Hi, 1. The R12 AC blew cold until last July. Everything is intact with no unknown noises or rattles.2. All 325iX's have 15" wheels. The only 14" wheel on any 325iX is the spare in 1988 models. 3. The current wheels and tires are the only set sold with the car.4. All fluids are fully-synthetic. Other useful iX info: http://home.earthlink.net/~wardellhix/iX/general/iXfaq.html No Disappointments, the car drives perfectly. Thanks for looking.
