2004 VW TOUAREG V10 TDI, 10 CYLINDER, TURBO DIESEL INJECTED ENGINE, FOUR WHEEL DRIVE, TIPTRONIC AW DRIVE 6 spd TRANSMISSION, SILVER WITH GREY LEATHER INTERIOR,COLD WEATHER PACKAGE INCLUDING HEATED SEATS AND MIRRORS, INDIVIDUAL CLIMATE CONTROLS, TOW PACKAGE, POWER SUNROOF, CD PLAYER, NAV SYSTEM, ONLY 111,000 ORIGINAL OWNER MILES, NO ACCIDENTS, NO SMOKING. ORIGINALLY FROM CANADA. This car is an animal!! It takes off like a spaceship and can tow up to a 28' streamline trailer. It's in great shape. I have owned it since new. It has never been in an accident. It has new rubber (18" tires). At 60 mph it gets aprox. 26 mpg, at 80 - 23 mpg. No one has ever smoked in this car. The tow package includes both the female and male pug assembly under the bumper and the VW male insert that attaches to your trailer wiring. It came fully loaded with all of the options when new. Cruise control etc. etc. and also including seat and steering wheel warmers and individual climate controls for each seat, except the back up alarm sounder. We have the history and repair records. Oil changes have always been to mfg. spec. The car does not need any oil top up between changes. Tires are new and nitrogen filled on 18" aluminum wheels. The interior is leather. New turbochargers and a new alternator were installed 3000 miles ago. I am moving out of the country and need to sell now! It is located in central Florida. For the last 3 years the car has had very limited use and has been stored inside in Florida while I vacationed on my yacht. The owners manual comes with the vehicle along with original purchase documentation. I may consider delivering the vehicle to U within the US for the right deal. A minimum $5,000 deposit is required at purchase. New this car was over $85,000. The only significant defect that I am aware of is the volume control knob on the radio is there but broken but the volume is still adjustable + - on the steering wheel so I never had it fixed. If you intend to finance the purchase please be sure that your provider will cover this vehicle in advance as most lenders have age limits on the finance of a vehicle. There is a discrepancy between car fax report and actual. As the car was originally purchased in Canada it was set for Kilometers and not Miles. The reports show mileage at 160K -- that is kilometers. Last year I had the computer changed to miles. The correct mileage presently is 111,000 miles. Also questions have been sent to me regarding the car fax report which in 2010 stated 'check engine light' was on. This was a turbocharger/engine control module issue. New turbochargers have been installed in 2010 as well as a new alternator, front wishbone suspension arms (reduce tire wear), new drive shaft (support bearing was worn). Since 2010 all repair work was given to non VW service shops. The records can be made available for your inspection and contact information as well. I am prepared to certify that the car will be delivered in 'very good working order' as per a reasonable mechanical inspection (the car is not represented to be new). I thought that it must have said something in the repair history about that to drive the same question so many times. Recently someone asked about the 'engine' light showing on the computer screen in one of the pictures. I had this checked and this light simply means that one of the glow plugs is not working which I discussed in the description already. Final payment may be arranged in person with a bank draft or otherwise if we can't meet directly we can work together to figure out a fair and safe way for the exchange of the title and payment and delivery of the vehicle. Through ebay there is a service from ESCROW.COM where they facilitate this but it costs a lot. We could use it or creatively figure something out.
