This is my 2001 Acura CL Type S. It is undoubtedly, the nicest riding, quickest, fastest, most comfortable, best handling and most reliable car I’ve owned in over 40 years of driving. It is a one owner car and as I remember has every option available except the rear spoiler and the navi. This includes driver and passenger air bags as well as side bags. Of course, driver and passenger heated power seats, stability control, traction control, the works...and yes, everything does. The photos were all taken on October 26, 2011 and I think that, especially for the age and mileage, the car is just lovely. Rather than try to describe everything, I thought it would be better to include as many photos as possible. The car smells fresh as I haven’t allowed any smoking in it in years. There is no rust anywhere on the car that I know of. There was a small parking lot type accident some years ago that resulted in a dent in the plastic covering of the front bumper – I had that popped back out and it is hardly noticeable from a few feet away - I tried to show in the photos. I have worked as both an equipment operator and engineer and I can tell you the car was well maintained and adult operated. I don’t think anyone under the age of 40 has ever sat in the drivers seat…the car has never been abused – this year I had new brake pads and rotors installed on both the front and back axles and the tires were rotated. Oil and filter changes have always been done on schedule. The only major repair that’s been done is around 80,000 miles, the transmission acted up – I took the car to the dealer and the replaced the transmission with a new (I assume rebuilt) unit under warranty. It has operated flawlessly ever since. Here’s my secret – I had planned on having the car detailed before I sold it and bought a certificate for a $100 mobile detailing from Exquisite Express Mobile Detailing. Well, their schedule is such that I couldn’t fit it in…so you will get that $100 detailing to be done when you choose…they come out to your home or business and detail the car right there…and as nice as it looks in the photos, it should look spectacular when its waxed and detailed. I did wash it before I took the photos but I didn’t wax it. That being said, I’m sure that there’s stone chips and bird droppings and a coffee stain here or there that didn’t show in the photos – just remember that it is an 11 year old car with over 180,000 miles…just a really nice, reliable one. NADA lists the car as $3000 average trade and $6200 average retail. I think this car is above average. My reserve is just above the average trade price to cover the eBay costs. If you look at my feedback – its perfect…both as a buyer and seller. I’ve sold 3 of my vehicles on eBay this year and all the buyers were delighted…I think you will be too. I have no way to transport the car so please come get it. I would like a $500 deposit through Paypal within 24 hours, the balance in cash when you pick the car up. I would expect the car to have a few more miles, it is my daily driver til my new car comes in. I would not hesitate to drive the car cross country today were my health to allow it.
