1967 Giulia Sprint GT Veloce. This is a total professional restoration of a 1967 Stepnose. I bought this car over twenty years ago. The previous owner bought it for his wife, but never had the time or money to restore it. He bought the car from the original owner that raced it and burned up the engine. The previous owner did obtain a correct 1600 engine and installed it. After I bought the car, I had the body stripped and resprayed the original Dutch Blue. The paint is three years old and still in great condition. The only rust issues were both rockers, which were repaired with replacement panels and welded in. The only other rust spot was the left rear wheel arch. The wheel arch was replaced. I had the engine, transmission, and drivetrain totally rebuilt. The engine was glass beaded to remove all dirt and grime. The engine was rebuilt with BORGO high compression pistons, liners, and rings. The two WEBER carbuerators were also rebuilt. The original cast iron exhaust manifold was replaced with a chromed one. The interior was done in tan vinyl with cloth inserts. The dashboard was repaired with fiberglass and faux painted, but the cardboard continued to deteriorate over the last year. I would go for an aluminum one, but it is not original. I am selling this Alfa to fund the restoration of a 1960 Sprint. These cars normally sell in the $30,000 range depending on the quality of the restoration. I have set the reserve at a very reasonable price. The PANASPORT wheels in some of the photos do not come with the car. They belong to a 1971 GTV. Any further questions, contact me through EBAY.
