This Caprice was purchced in an Estate sale of a 85 yerar old womna hwo had bought the car in 1993 from Allen Samuels Chevrolet, in Waco TX. She had driven the car to gracery store, Phycial Therapy Gym and six trips to her home tiwon apporx. 150 miles away. The car is like new Paint is perfect, Mechanical is flawless. I converted the AC in June, 2011 to R45 from the R12; it runs cold. It hass 4 new tries and a new lifetime Alternator amd Battery. All fliuds were drained and replaced with new before the engine was started due to a 2 year storage time. in jume 2011. There are four small cigarette burns in the carpet beneath the ash tray; otherwise the interior is flawless. due to the sitting period without use there is no cigarette smell -- infact eh car smells showroom fresh. On the passenger side is 12 inch long sideswipe crease at the lower door panel front passenger door; and a ding 1/4" dent ont eh rear passenger door loser door panel. Other than that ther si no dings or scratches ont he body. Chrome is brigth and without any tarnish. I have put only 30 miles taking the car to service and detailing, and aorund town. It is a one owner car before me with certified ownership. Everything is original. With only 38250 miles it is collectors dream for one of the last large touring cars produced. The chassis and power trainis the identical for the Chevy Caprice/ Impala; Oldsmobile 98; and the Buick Roadmaster.
