THIS CALIFORNIA NATIVE 1971 CHEVY BLAZER HAS HAD TWO OWNERS WITH ONLY 143,000 ORIGINAL MILES. THIS BLAZER SPENT MOST OF ITS LIFE IN DRY STORAGE FOR YEARS IN CONCORD CALIFORNIA. THIS BLAZER IS STOCK AND IS EQUIPPED, FRONT POWER DISC BRAKES, POWER STEERING, FRONT LOCKING HUBS, TINTED GLASS, 350 MOTOR AND A TURBO 350 TRANS, THIS IS A SUPER DRY AND CLEAN BLAZER WITH A GREAT BODY. THE PAINT AND BODY- This blazer has had one paint job of the original color medium green and it is starting to get thin in some spots but it is still shiny and it is good enough to drive around it almost looks to be the original paint and I get stopped all the time by people who want to look at the blazer and they all think its the original paint. The original paint on the inside of the Blazer is in outstanding condition over all. the paint on the bottom of the doors and the rockers is in good condition. the paint on the tailgate and in the back bed area is also in good condition. The body on this Blazer is in over all super condition with factory floor pan that are solid along with the kick panels they are also solid and are not showing any signs of rust or surface rust through the paint. You will not need to patch or replace the floor pans or kick panels in this blazer. The original fire wall is in great condition and has not been cut up or beat on. The paint on the fire wall is original and is in super condition also there are no rusty spots on the drivers side or passanger side in the upper corners of the fire wall and the original chalk markes from the factory are still intact. The quarter panels are original to the Blazer and are in great condition they are not full of bondo and they have not been crashed in to they look straight when looking down the sides they are not wavy or beat up. Both the doors are super clean and solid with no sings of rusting through or rust bubbles they look great. Both the front fenders are in great condition and are not beat up or cut on or rusting out they are super clean fenders. I have checked the passanger side fender down low inline with the battery and it shows no signs of rust same with the drivers side. The passenger side inner fender wells also shows no signs of rust same with the drivers side. The inner and outer rocker panels are not rusted out or full of body filler and will not need to be cut off or replaced they look great. The windshield pillers and upper windshield area both out side and inside are rust free and are in super condition. Behind the inner windshield rubber accross the top is also dry and still shows its original paint at the pinch weld this area is not rusted out. The top of the metal dash down by the windshields rubber is in super condition and still has the original paint and is not rusty or water stained. The hood is straight and is not bowed it fits great. The original hood hinges are in good condition and are not sprung. THE INTERIOR- The inside of this Blazer is in original condition and is clean. The two front seats are stock to the Blazer and they need to be recovered.The original back seat to the Blazer is intact and is not torn up but it is showing its age and is due to be recovered to be perfect. The carpet has been replaced and it looks new also the threshold moldings are in great condition. The dash pad is original and is in good condition it is not ready to be replaced at this point. The original sun visors are in good condition they look great. The dash bezel is also original and the gauges are all in good working order along with the dash lights and inside lights. The original steering wheel is in ok condition it has a few cracks. The door panels are original and they are in good condition. The inside of the white removable top is super clean. The factory radio is intact but does not work the original speaker is also intact below the dash. The heater switches are intact and are not broken and the heater is in good working order. There are no added speakers or speaker holes in this Blazer. Over all the inside of this Blazer is clean and would not take much to make perfect. Also the felts are original and are intact along with the door rubbers. THE MOTOR- This Blazers motor is a stock 350 that is a great running motor with only15,000 miles on it. This motor is not a leaker or a smoker. Their is no problems with this motor and it has good power all the acessories on the motor are stock. THE TRANS/TRANSFER CASE - The rebuilt trans is a turbo 350 that also has 15,000 miles on it and it works great. The trans has a miner leak when parked for a while but will not leake when ithe blazer is being used. The original transfer case was inspected and regasketed when the trans was rebuilt and it does not leak and the 4x4 is in good working order. The rear end is a nice tight rear end that does not clunk or howl. OVER ALL- This Blazer comes with the protecto plate and the owners manual. The front end was rebuilt along with new bearings, rotors, brakes calipers and all new brakes. The exhaust is in good condition and it sounds good not to loud. The original rally rims are in great condition and are clean. The 33" mud style tires have good tread and shoud last for years. This blazer is equiped with the stock springs wiyh rancho shocks.The original factory build sheet sticker is on the back of the glove box door and is legible its in good condition. All the electrical in this Blazer is in good condition and is in good working order. The glass is not cracked or pitted and is in good original condition. The hard top is in great condition and is not cracking or splitting. The back hatch is also in great original condition and is not broke up or splitting. The front and rear bumpers are original and are straight and clean but the crome is getting a little dule. The original grill shell is in good condition for being original to the Blazer it is not beat up. This Blazer runs and drives good and is dependable. The master cylinder and the booster are original and they work fine. This Blazer is very original and is an impressive Blazer to own. The bottom side of this Blazer is not under coated from the factory and it is clear to see that it is not a rotted out mess. This is a dry Blazer that did not see much moisture when you look at the back side of the rear view mirror, the shifter arm, the blinker arms, the inner and outer door handles and the other bright work there is no pitting or rusting.
