This auction is for a All orginal 1978 VW Westfalia It starts right up and drives great but it could use a tune up as it has only been driven a couple times over the last 6 months.Accelrates smoothly with no hesitation or sputtering.The clutch shifts fine.There is a oil leak and im pretty sure its from the valve cover(im not a mechanic) but its not bad.All lights,turn signals,wipers,gauges work.The inverter works as well.The canvas has a repairable tear.The interior is in good condtion with no major stains or damage,the passenger seat has a tear.The body has a couple dings that dont show but they are not serious.There is some surface rust (see pics) under the driver side and rear window's.The only problem really is the sliding door needs a new bearing to work properly. The motor was rebuilt in 1997 and has 20k put on it since then.I have a folder full of maintence work that dates back to 1989 and it includes the paperwork for the motor rebuild.
