Up for auction for your next winter restoration project is a....... 1980 SUZUKI GS 550L IT WILL SELL TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER!!! NO RESERVE!!! It has a clear title & all the parts seem to be there (Except the battery) My son was gonna make it a bobber this summer but .......He is in the ARMY and is DEPLOYING TO AFGAHANASTAN IN FEBRUARY. He won't return till 2013 (I ain't storing it for 2 years) The engine spins freely has compression, but.............. it sat for several years before we got it. The gas tank is rusty inside (AND STINKY TOO) 2 KEYS... Ignition lights up dash lights. There is a little dent on right side of gas tank (see photo) The chrome is in pretty good shape for a 31 year old motorcycle. There is a box of parts,nuts & bolts, brackets, spark plugs etc that goes with the bike. There is an extra MINKUNI carb in the box too.(see photo) The guy we got it from was gonna cut the exhaust (and make a RAT / BOBBER bike)............. but he didn't do anything to em but remove em from the bike (see photo) All the exhaust flanges & bolts are in the box o parts just bolt em back on.(After you clean em up a bit). The seat is a little dirty but no rips & in really good shape... Just gonna need a little armor-all. Handlebars are not bent. It looks as if it was never dropped. The carbs & throttle / choke work smoothly too. For some reason he(the guy we got it from) disconnected the rear & front brakes. (Perhaps to change the pads.....I dunno???) All in all it would make a really great Father & Son winter project. NO RESERVE!!! LOOK AT THE PHOTOS VERY VERY CAREFULLY A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET REMEMBER: THIS BIKE IS A RESTORATION / RESTORE / REPAIR PROJECT BIKE.
