1931 Ford Model A Late Year Model Wide Bed All Steel Top Pick-up Truck No Reserve, Bid Starts at $15,000. This pick-up has been in my family since the early '60's and I know more about the car as an original Model A than I know about the modifications. The modifications were completed about 10 years ago and there is only 1082 miles on the odometer. This pick-up has been modified with a GM V-6 engine and automatic transmission. It has custom paint and Kelsey-Hayes 16" wheels. The rear axle is from a Ford Mustang and the car has front disk brakes. The carburetion is from Edelbrock as well as manifold and valve covers. An electronic fan is used for the engine cooling. There is a transmission cooler under the truck and the gas tank was custom built out of stainless steel. I believe that the frame was cut and channeled to accomodate the V-6 engine and modern suspension. The interior has never been completed and the seat cover has rips in the seams. There are no inside door panels or kick panels. The steering wheel is from an '80's GM Monte Carlo, but the gauges are custom to the car VDO. The pick-up has been sitting in a garage for the past 6 years with very little use. I had the truck fuel filter and transmission serviced, and it has a new battery. There is a car cover for the Pick-up and one spare Kelsey-Hayes wheel and tire. It drives great and is a real eye catcher. Please contact me with further questions (661) 323-3779.
