This bike is very clean and well known by our local clubs. I have toured widely thru the Mid-West with no problems. I call it a Cruiser because of the Windjammer II fairing/shield and Krauser bags but it could be called a Sport Touring bike. The fairing has recently been repainted including new pin-striping and new chrome edging from Jammer. This is a LWB (long wheel base) model which is more desireable for riding & handling comfort but also has space for a larger battery. The toaster style tanks are likewise the most sought after. The miles shown are original currently at 19,300. This was the last year for BMW having both a kick and electric starter. Matching numbers bike. I believe from its very nice condition that it has always been garaged. It has the FLAMM style horns (LOUD)! The Krauser bags are in excellent condition in and out and come with locking keys and mounted BMW badges. The 1 year old battery has been on a tender. The bike starts very easily and uses no oil. The seats are a huge improvement over the original seats and include a rain proof cover. Included is the original seat metal base, rubber foam, and a like new rear seat chrome trim piece. An original set of BMW tools is included. All gauges, lights, & horns work. The 4sp transmission shifts with the familiar BMW "click". An "Easy Clutch" accessory has been installed which gives a much easier and smoother clutch release. Metzler tires front and rear and guessing with 75% rubber remaining. RECENT CARE GIVEN: Points changed. (extra good set included) Plugs changed. New point seal in front cover. New ventilation tube. Valves adjusted. Gas tank removed & cleaned. Receipts and records of all work done included. Owner's Manual & Workshop Manual included as well as 2 new oil filters & extra ignition key.
