I am selling a 1948 willys cj2a "lefty" Jeep!! There were less than 10,000 of these jeeps built over a few months of production. The reason its called a lefty is because willys put the spare tire on the drivers side instead of the passenger side. The jeep is in pretty good shape for how old it is, it does have some rust and body damage but can be fixed pretty easy if you decide to restore the jeep. The motor is the original 4 cylinder and it starts right up and seems to run good but I have to keep the choke pulled out until it worms up so the carburetor could probably use a rebuild, the jeep also needs a muffler. I put a new gas tank with sending unit in the jeep and also I put new canvas seats in the jeep, The seat frames are just sitting in it so they will need bolted down. I also have the inner windshield frame that is in great shape, but need one side of the glass replaced... Jeep does need some TLC but would be a nice project to fix up for hunting or to do a full restoration... Please fell free to call me at (970-210-0680) for any question...
