This a fully loaded 2002 Ford E-250 w/5.4., Handicap Wheelchair Van that has been specially equipped with Special Steering and Braking Controls for a Driver who requires a Wheelchair or Powerchair for mobility. It was converted by Rollx and Braun, when new in 2002 and was purchased at a cost of nearly $80,000. It has been driven 172000 mostly highway miles. I bought the van for a second vehicle, but need the money, so we have to sell the van. It was designed using special state of the art hand controls, allowing it to be operated by a person in a powerchair or wheelchair. It has swtches inside and radio remote that controls power opening and shutting of the side doors and the raising and lowering of the wheelchair lift. It also has an auxillary control panel mounted in the taillight. This Van can also be driven by a person who is not in a wheelchair by installing the included easy lock drivers seat that is on wheels and easily installed using the same ez lock system that would also secure the wheelchair or powerchair in the drivers area. When using the Hand controls, by pushing the hand control forward the brakes are applied and by pulling back the throttle is increased. The Van floor has been lowered approx 4 Inches to increase headroom. This Van does have some scratches and some dents from parking lots. Its been very well cared for and is very good condition.. This Van runs very well and is clean and dry underneath and all onboard systems are functioning properly. It has a remoted entry system that is activated by using push button pad to automatically open the doors and lower the Wheelchair Lift.
