Vehicle Detail
This is a 1939 Chrysler Business Coupe that I started 3 years ago making into a street rod. Very rare car, 2 seater with the fold down behind the passenger side, and very few still exist. I'm building 2 other cars, including a 68 Plymouth Roadrunner, and I have decided to keep it as my show car. This car has a long list of things done on it, and will need someone to finish it up. The following is just a partial list of things done and need to be finished on the car: New rebuilt (by Eason's Machine Shop) 413 Chrysler V8, balanced, comp cam kit, 300J high compression heads, March billet pulleys and brackets, including Air Cond and power steering brackets, Offenhauser 2-4 barrel intake, twin Edelbrock 500cfm carbs with progressive linkage, HEI style high performance distributor and ignition, chrome valve covers and pan, steel forged crankshaft etc...stainless steel shorty headers, twin velocity stack air breathers. Sanden compressor for A/C in box. All chrome for the car except the side trim outside is intact and has been rechromed and ready to be installed. Frame was completed with new chassis paint, 68 Camaro subframe, 11" slotted and drilled disc brakes, 12 bolt chevy rearend, 2" dropped spindles, all new bushings, bearings, etc....wire 15" wheels, Rebuilt 727 torqueflite transmission, chrome pan, column shift cable shift (from Lokar), LeCarra Vintage steering wheel, chrome GM style steering column and drop, 5" Quad guages with 'wings style' billet mount, 2 bucket seats out of an Eddie Bauer Bronco that have lumbar support and slide forward for behind seat access (will need reupholstery to match whatever interior you add), New 18 circuit wiring harness, electric fan relay and cooling, new aluminum radiator, new balanced driveshaft, electric power windows that will need completing, bear claw latches for doors(need installing), new glass all around with Steele seals, new switchs and ignition switch with color coded 'trim' rings to match a tan interior. New delay electric windshield wiper kit... I'm sure I've missed a few things, so this car just needs to be finished....it will need body work, floor pans in front have been done, will need a new pan in the trunk area. The engine, transmission, and drive train are finished and it runs down the road (very Quickly). The interior needs complete finishing. Call me if you have any questions ...501-589-5000 I would consider some type trade for an El Camino from 1968-1972, but no others please. If you build hot rods or street rods and want one that is 'not the usual' ...this is one of 'em...try to find even pictures are difficult. I've added a few pictures of what the car looks like as a resto rod or chopped street rod...and, of course, my roadrunner.
