Vehicle Detail
Beautiful and clean '73 Nova. I've owned this car for 16 years. I have invested over $25,000 in modifications, alterations, and cosmetics to make it turn heads everywhere it goes. The engine is a built 350 4-bolt main with .202 heads and a slight cam. The intake is an aluminum edelbrock high rise with (I believe) a 650 carb. The transmission is a turbo 400. The rear end has .373 gears, so it doesn't destroy your checkbook to drive around. It also has a 150 hp Nitrous kit and bottle, but I'm not sure why I had it installed because I only tried it once. I'm more of a practical driver and this car has never been to the track. The car also has several mods to the body including an internal roll cage (that doesn't preclude driving in any way, it's made around the interior), disc brakes in the front, frame ties (if you aren't familiar with "half-frames", they were weak and this modification makes the frame more rigid and keeps the body from warping), and bucket seats with 5-point harnesses. The rear seat was removed, speakers were installed in the rear wall, and a custom made chevy emblem in the same color as the car was built into the rear wall. It looks pretty cool. The console is custom made and has a gauge cluster and floor shifter (auto transmission). What else can I say? The car is not an "SS", because I really liked the black vinyl top and look of the 2DR coupes, but I thought the emblems were a nice touch and I doubt there is an "SS" out there that compares. The car is being kept by my friend in Myrtle Beach, SC. I am attending a university in Denver, CO for the next two years, and don't really have any need for a hot rod anymore. Feel free to email me with any questions, and I'll be happy to give you a call. You are always welcome to have a look at the car in Myrtle Beach, SC. If you contact me, I'll put you in touch with my friend who can show it to any serious buyers. The only trade I can consider is for a Mini Cooper S, as I really need to get a vehicle with more fuel economy while in college! This auction is "No Reserve". If I have misstated anything about the car, you don't have to pay so happy bidding! Successful buyer must make payment arrangements within 7 days of auction end.
