Vehicle Detail
1997 SALEEN MUSTANG #97-0132 There were 29 white coupes produced in '97. This one is 1 of 2 with the color scheme & options. Saleen letter of authenticity verifies this. Ford build sheet also included in the sale Car has all of the factory Saleen items; Racecraft Suspension, Saleen Floormats, Body & Decal kit, White face gauges, Short-throw shifter, etc... Car has the following Saleen optional items: * 18" Magnesium Wheels * Runflat tires * 3.55 gears * B-pillar Chassis Brace (rollbar) ~~ Some of the Ford options include: Leather interior, power driver seat, CD player, 4.6 SOHC V-8, 5-speed manual transmission, all power options, etc... ~~ Since purchasing it, I have had the following professionally installed: * Cross-drilled & slotted 13" rotors w/ Ceramic brakepads * New runflat tires (255/35 18 ft, 275/35 18 rear) * Bassani X-pipe * Stainless steel Aero resonators (also has SLP stainless mufflers) * 75-125 Zex adjustable Nitrous (needs to be plumbed into intake to finish) * New Saleen floormats * New Saleen plug wires * Saleen 3-piece aluminum underdrive pulleys * New headlights * Custom fire extinguisher painted to match exterior * Hurst shift handle ~~ The car is in excellent overall condition & runs/ sounds fantastic. All decals are perfect!!! Many factory items (shift handle, factory airbox, pulleys, etc...), receipts & documentation are included ~~ I have taken it on several road trips & have had no issues. Being as it is a used vehicle, there are some small signs of use here & there. The worst imperfection is a small tear on the lower other edge of the driver's seat. I received an estimate of $125 to replace the small section with a new piece of leather I love the car & it draws an unbelievable amount of attention. Unfortunately, job relocation forces sale. I am going to take a significant loss, but have no other option than to sell it I have clear title & it is for sale locally, so don't wait until the end to bid.
