Vehicle Detail
Have to sell the ol Snoopy car. This has been a very popular car wherever you drive it. Inside and out, its been totally 'Snoopified' and its a one of a kind. The Snoobaru is the best of both worlds, Snoopy is fun and people love him. Subaru has AWD and you feel the love driving it. Fun and very sporty. A World Rally style with a Snoopy flavor. Custom Snoopy everything, visors, details, seats, mats, and the list goes on. Best 2.2L engine ever, very saught after. The big problem is the transmission, I think it will need to be fixed. In the mornings when its cold, it has difficulties changing gears. It revs but doesnt want to 'kick into gear'. When its warmed up or Ive been driving it awhile, it runs fine however I think it will need someone to look at this. I still drive it every day around town and to work and its been no trouble. Just in the mornings. Officially it is a : 1999 Subaru Impreza 2.2 L Sport with functional hood scoop, Halo headlights, Tiger Paw All Season Tires, Monroe Sensur-Trac Struts, Cone air intake filter, Mini-frig in the back, Rear wipers and defrost, Heated seat pads, Driver and passenger airbags, roof rack, WRX spoiler, clear title from State of Vermont Motor Vehicles, Awesome fog lights, Alpine CD/sterio with Alpine front speakers. There is a large Amp mounted in the back with speaker wire for sub woffers i just never designed the box and dont have the woofers. Engine is very nice and clean and it starts even in -20 degree weather. Relatively new starter put in. AWD is really essential in the snow here in Vermont and the Subaru goes anywhere. Ive even rescued other motorists with my AWD Snoopy Subie. Leaving the USA and must sell. Low starting bid. Snoopy Subaru is a popular car and even has its own Facebook page which has more than a thousand friends. You will inherit that too if you want. I'll give you the pass word and you can change it. The facebook page is a good way to see more pictures of the car than i can put on ebay and is open to anyone. Just go to facebook and look up 'Snoopy Subaru'. I have kept a book of everything I have ever done to the car. It has every oil change, breaks, alignment that has been done on it since I have owned it. I have the original factory headlights if you want them, Halo headlights are on it now. I also have the original air intake parts which I will include as the cone air intake is on it now. Snoopy has the usual dents and scratches with a car that old. It has a rust spot behind the rear wheels and some spots on top behind the roof rack. Underneath the car is good and has been coated every winter with a rubber spray to avoid rust. The A/C does not work and Im not sure why. All power windows work but the left passenger window rolls up slower than the others do. As stated earlier I think the transmission needs to be looked at and I was going to do this before putting it on ebay but I need to leave the country soon. So starting bid is just $1000 and you will have a very cool car. Thanks for looking and feel free to email me with any questions. I have never put a video on ebay before but im going to try and add one on. If I cant I can send you the link via email. Try these: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6fBWdrFrSQ8 http://www.youtube.com/embed/6fBWdrFrSQ8?hl=en&fs=1http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abet1jkQ4FQhttp://www.youtube.com/embed/abet1jkQ4FQ?hl=en&fs=1 On Oct-17-11 at 14:45:00 PDT, seller added the following information: In the question section, i couldnt get one question to post on ebay. I said that all belts had been replaced but i see it did not include timing belt. So no, the timing belt hasnt been replaced since i have owned the car. Not good PR but want you to know what you are getting since you cant be here and see for yourself. Just had all fluids checked and replaced a break light bulb. Also still has oringinal Owners Manual. Still driving it to work and around town until it sells so the final miles will be only slightly different than what was posted. Hope that helps
