Vehicle Detail
This roadster is a classic beauty with the most desirable options and low mileage: average 7,500 miles/year! The Z3 is the epitome of the classic BMW roadster design, incorporating the engineering, handling and body design that have become one of the most desirable sports cars on the market today. The silver/black color combination never goes out of style . I still get comments on this car when I drive with the top down. This color combined with low mileage is hard to find. The 2.5 liter 6 cylinder engine is torque-ey and fast. The manual transmission is smooth and gives you the responsiveness that you want when you buy a car like this. Not only does this car produce a lot of power, it has been incredibly economical: exactly zero mechanical problems ever, and gets great gas mileage: 20mph/city, 28mph freeway. The black leather seats, carpet and top are in good condition showing only normal wear. The rear window is new. The power convertible top operates flawlessly. This car is equipped with a sport premium package and includes power windows and locks, cruise control, walnut dash trim, manual transmission, power mirrors, clock, am-fm and "Harmon Kardon" stereo CD radio, all the tools in the truck, dual power seats, dynamic stability control, cold air conditioning, all the books, four wheel disc with ABS, fog lights, z3 floor mats, front and SIDE airbags (the first year these were available), 4 tires with less than 8k on them (about 85% tread). I am the original owner and I have the owner’s manuals. I am not a dealer and cannot offer a warranty so the car is sold as-is, where-is, in Los Angeles, CA. I am sorry to have to sell this car but after 12 years loving it I need something bigger. There have been no significant accidents but some dings but normal wear and tear, including some scratches over the years, especially on the bumpers. These are normal for a car of this vintage and the paint has been touched up. To get the car to its full potential (which I don’t have time to do now that I am selling and need a new car), it could use an alignment and a rim replacement but it’s nothing critical. Also, as is common with BMWs (and European cars in general) the ABS light stays on even though there is nothing wrong with the ABS.
