A "K" car, originally with a 289 "Hi Po"' has been changed to a 302 at sometime in it's life. To this 302 (1973 model), I have added a new Hi Rise aluminum intake, a new Holley 600 4 bbl carburetor and a transmission kickdown cable kit for immediate response. The engine also has a new starter, alternator, voltage regulator, new dual exhaust and some chrome trim you will see in the pictures. The drivetrain has the original C-4 3 speed automatic and the factory positraction rear end. Traction bars have been added. The car has complete new brakes with new wheel cylinders, pads, master cylinder and new hoses. New 14 tires on aluminum wheels round out the drive train. The original 14" steel wheels are included. The body has had a complete makeover. Small rust on the lower rear quarters has been replaced/repaired with solid welded in steel. The entire body was taken down to bare steel and brought back. The underside, spring mounts, body mounts, etc are in good condition. Some floor pan repair was completed, sealed and painted prior to carpet. All the aluminum trim was removed, has had the dull anodizing stripped, then buffed and clear coated. The headlight bezels, grill and rear "checker board" trim has also been treated this way with the black "checker board" being repainted prior to clear coating. Dented or bent trim has been replaced and all trim was remounted with new fasteners. The front and rear glass are new, as is the door weather stripping seals. A new trunk seal and hood to cowl seal has been added. New outside mirrors have been added. The interior was totally repainted with the exterior. The bucket seats are from an S-10 blazer. The car has new molded carpet, new door and rear panels, a new console, heater plenam, defroster duct and a custom "checkered flag" headliner. The original AM radio is not connected so I don't know if it works. Even though it's classified a "driver" the car really turns an eye and gets a lot of attention at the local Cruize In's and Car meets.
