1958 Nash Metropolitan. This car will make a great project. It has the original four cylinder engine and three on the tree. The engine does not run. The previous owner told me it has been sitting in a shed for forty years. The body is solid with only a few minor bumps and scrapes. The rust is minimal and appears to be limited to the front floor boards (rear floor boards are solid), the gas tank, and a small patch the size of a half dollar on the passenger rocker. The windshield has a vertical crack on the passenger side. The ignition cylinder is missing, but I have a new key for the glove box. The rear seat bottom cushion is missing, but the Metro parts suppliers carry complete seat upholstery kits at very reasonable prices. I bought this with the intention of putting a Miata Engine and drivetrain in it, but I have since acquired two more projects that are taking priority. I paid $1650 for the car plus $200 in getting a title and taxes for the car. At the $1400 starting price, I'm just trying to minimize my losses. The title is a clear Kansas Antique title.
