Everything works, nothing is broke and it drives like a dream. The 4+3 manual transmission functions perfectly and it is bolted to a torque monster L98 5.7 liter V8 that goes almost as good as it sounds. The 35th Anniversary package added $4,795 to a base coupe's price, making it the most expensive Corvette in 1988. (except a Callaway!) They are instantly recognizable with pretty white wheels, special badges and a gorgeous white leather interior that you have to see to believe. Number 887, seen here, is in spectacular condition with milky smooth white paint, perfect trim and new car panel fit. As extensive as the appearance options are, the Anniversary package was not merely a cosmetic upgrade. It included the Z52 Sport Handling Package and this particular car has heavy duty cooling and an engine oil cooler. Electronic air conditioning was also part of the deal and this one blows cold. Panel alignment is spectacular and the doors, hood and hatch close new car solid. The 35th Anniversary exclusive white wheels and black roof hoop separate these special cars from other C4 Corvettes and this Anniversary 'Vette will be a stand-out at any show.
