FOR SALE: A very nice 1970 Jeepster Commando. I purchased this vehicle in 2008 out of the state of California. It has been garaged all of it's life. The paint is original. There is some fading on the hood due to the engine heat, and there is some fading at the gas cap where it had been overfilled over the years. It can be used as a daily driver. I have replaced seals that were dried out. I have also recored the radiator, replaced the water pump, and the thermostat. I have put new brake drums and wheel cylinders and brakes pads on front and rear axles. I have also replaced the gas tank with a polyurethane tank because I did not want to have to worry about rust in the fuel. All gauges and switches are original and working. This does include the gas gauge. When the vehicle was purchased new, an 8-track tape player and radio were installed. They also split the exhaust, and it sounds very nice. The tire and fuel tank rack was also installed when the vehicle was purchased new. I also have the original manuals for the unit. It is one of the nicest, rust-free, original units that I have ever seen. I would not be afraid to drive this unit from coast to coast. If you have any questions, please call 417-793-6196. Thanks.
