Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a 1970 Chevelle 2 door. Car has been sitting for a while. Therefor one of the brakes is locked up. I believe this is the only thing it needs to be driveable. I will try to give you a overview of the car, eventho it is a good project that shows no signs of being hit, the car will need some work. Interior- The dash and dash pad is actually very nice. The carpet is worn as well as the seat covers. Seats will need covers and front will need some foam. Door panels are pretty nice but the lower rears are broken in a bag in the trunk. Headliner has a couple of mouse holes. Engine-350 engine with a edlebrock intake and carb. Seems to run pretty good. I have never driven the car. It had a holley carb on it when I got it. It was flooding out badly so I changed it to a Edelbrock. It now runs much better. It was bleching black smoke. It is slowing clearing up. I think the plugs may need cleaned. Body- this call will need quarters outers fillers and a trunk pan. Both front fenders have some rust. Front inner fenders look good. This car never had a vinyl top so it is good around the windows and in the cowl area. The door appear to be good as well as the deck lid and hood. Also i do have a quarter skin patch panel for the drivers side. doesnot appear to have been repainted. But it looks as if some one used primer out of a spray can. I have the car for sale locally for $3200 obo and reserve the right to stop the auction at anytime. NOTE NOTE The rally wheels on the car I will buy back for $200 and include a set of rollers. Steve fell free to call 765 206 0350 i live 1 hour norht od Indy. Delivery maybe available for a fee -up to 200 miles 1 way. Today I took out the plugs and cleaned them - it now runs well. Starts with a quick turn of the key and holds a good idle. The smoke has all but cleared up. There still is a little black smoke coming from the tail pipes when reved up. The tail pipes do have black soot in the ends. The oil should be change also as it smells of gas. I drove the car around the yard today and the engine seemed to have very good power. I will change the sticking wheel cylinder and drive the car down the road tomorrow and let you know how it drives. I believe this is the only thing not making the car drivable at this time. The heater core however does leak. If you are going to drive it home I will bypass the core for you.
