PROJECT CAR - CAR DOES NOT RUN For Sale is a 1972 Datsun 240Z ~ Green with Tan & Green interior. The car is all original with no modifications. Original paint, no bondo or repairs. Original motor with matching numbers. This is a great find and would make a great project car for any Z enthusiast or would also be the perfect car for parts. There is minimal body rust, but none on the floor boards or trunk. The body is pretty straight except for 2 dents on the passenger side - rear quarter panel & front fender. This is a 1972 - so no smog requirement in California. The engine is missing heads, intake manifold, and carbuerators. I won this little gem at a local storage auction and don't have the time to devote to restoration. The Datsun 240Z is a classic from the early 70s and, fully restored would be a beauty to see back on the road. The car has not been registered since 2005. This was a lien sale from the storage auction and I have all of the lein paperwork and bill of sale needed for the winning bidder to compete the sales transaction with the DMV.
