Here is a 1979 numbers matching Special Edition Trans Am. It's a Y84 on the Cowl Tag. I checked the features on the cowl tag and they are correct with what is in the car. Black on Black Special Edition. The car runs and drives and shifts fine. It has the original 403 motor in it. The guy I bought it from told me the motor was re-done and bored over.30. I haven't verified that. The frame is solid and the body is pretty solid. There is a little mud in the bottom of the rear quarters and a hole in the passenger side front quarter. It can be patched or replaced. The seats are in good shape. There is a small hole in the trunk that could be patched or replace the trunk pan. The front end has some paint bubbled on it. The car needs a some body work to get ready for paint. On the motor there are no ticks. The compressor for the AC is missing but other than that it's complete. The interior will need some work. It will need a new floor and some minor trim work but nothing major. The T-tops do not leak. I don't have the keys to the doors only the ignition key. So the door locks will need to be changed. Paypal is acceptable for the balance payment. Cash is always good. Any other form of payment (cashier's check, postal money orders) will need to clear before pick up of the car can be made.
