This bike with only 5946 miles is a civilianized 6 speed BMW R1200rtp. It has added silver vinyl graphics, BMW EVO partially integral ABS II Anti-lock brake system heated grips, adjustable heated seat, electric adjustable wind screen, Bob's BMW wrist rest throttle lock, high power LED driving lights, XM Radio with mount + ear bud jack + grip mute switch, bar-backs handlebar riser/extensions,heavy duty electrical system with multi BMW plug accessory receptacles, battery charge port, 2 GEL sealed batteries, Adjustable suspension, Heavy Duty cooling system (fan assisted), Stainless steel crash bars, Retactable Hiway pegs, Radio box rear bag rack, lockable radio box storage compartment, lockable glove/accessory compartment, lockable city case system with zippered pull out liner bags, dual police speedometers (calibrated analog plus pace lock recording digital), 2 BMW anti theft coded ignition keys, NEW dual compound Michelin Pilot Road 2 tires front and rear. Even though this bike has been "civilianized" it comes with all the originally installed strobes, lights, flashers etc. such as the fwd quadrant multi colored strobe modules, rear radio strobe module, radar gun rack, siren, "Code 3" electronic controller plus handlebar controls for reinstallation for traffic escort rider or Patriot Guard duty if so desired. This bike was new to the Alpharetta GA police traffic division in 2008 where I was told it was dropped while parked hence the rebuilt title which I was told by dealer is standard for city resale liability reasons. There was zero mechanical damage and no mechanical items required replacement. There was minor cosmetic damage with several small fairing dings, a scratch on the windscreen and a scuff on the crash bars and on one City Case. Other than the minor cosmetics, the bike is mechanically impeccable and a superbly balanced cross country machine. All services and recalls are up to date and done by BMW authorized service in Fort Worth. The bike came off BMW warranty in February 2011 I bought it from a BMW dealer in 2009 with 1754 actual miles but health issues require retiring from cross country riding. This is a superb cross country sport touring machine and differs only from the civilian R1200rt in looks, extra equipment and the heavier duty mechanicals for police service. It is a smooth riding, quiet running machine and is the closest thing to flying without leaving the ground.
