this is my 1968 gto .since the pics you see here. i have bought a few more parts for it in case it dont sell i will finish it ,i painted the dash bezel and dash,bought new bezel sticker and other things in last few days .car is in the body shop as your reading this getting the finders on and the nose put on .the left fender you see in one of the pics needs a small patch .but the nose is in perfect primered shape same as driver fender ,i also have the chrome that goes with the car, not in any pics you see. the dash is taken apart because thats what im working on now every thing in the dash is bagged and labeled i have a new trio auto meter guage set . and the motor and trans is matching numbers with X16 heads im told , ( i guess thats good ?) the motor and trans have just been rebuild by a professional , and it was put back to original the motor has not been bored or anything, still has the factory manifolds on the car,the motor is strong no knock or smoke ,i think the car has 65,000 orig miles that is what was on the speedo and the peddles do not look worn, car also has power steering ,no ac but heater works fine ,there is new brakes on the car but the front passenger side needs a brake cylinder ,(a 10 dollar part ) the car runs and drives it needs a few things like put back togather and fresh paint .the paint you see is at least 30 years old . i planned to paint the front clip and buff the back till i could get the money to paint the car. but ive lost intrest and dont really have the money to finish it , i would be happy to get what money ive put in it back out of it . this car is a rare find truly . i found it in a guys basement who did not want to sell it, he had it since 1989 he drove it till 1997 thats when the last tag was bought and i do have the last tag. he started the restoration on the car and never put back togather. i bought the car 6 months ago from him because he needed to send his daughter to college . i got the car to the condition you see it in today . call me for questions 205 753 1483
