Vehicle Detail

This is a 1987 Porsche 928S4. It is a theft recovery vehicle. The car is complete, but is for parts or track use or export only as it has a FLORIDA CERTIFICATE OF DESTRUCTION. Ebay only allows the "salvage title" option, and so that's what I had to select, but it is a FLORIDA CERTIFICATE OF DESTRUCTION. In some states it's not possible to get this vehicle registered or inspected for highway use, so please do your own research on local laws in the state you reside. I know that it can be registered in Kentucky (with inspection) and in Maine, with no inspection, and possibly other states. It can be registered in Canada and other countries without issue; please check your local import requirements for verification. The car is in overall great shape for it's age. Engine and transmission are good, as well as the body, suspension and interior, however, the car's ignition system was hot-wired when it was stolen, and in the process the car suffered some fried wiring from the ignition. The ignition and under-dash wiring harness will either need to be changed or repaired (I have a good ignition and harness that I will include with the car). The car currently does NOT start, since it needs the ignition and wiring to fusebox replaced before that can be attempted. I do not have the time to get into repairing this, but it will be a 4-10hr job depending on your skill level and experience level with these cars. Here are the other areas that I noticed which are in need of attention: *the chrome on the front wheels have a little bit of bubbling *the interior rear side panels in the trunk area are separated from the inner quarter panel, possibly due to sunlight exposure *the rear wheel well openings have had some "fender rolling" to accommodate much larger wheels (18x11 or 18x12) *the rear bumper cover has a few paint stress cracks near the driver's taillight from a very light bump or impact when it was towed I will not respond to lowball offers; the car is worth over $7000 in parts. This car is offered AS IS, WHERE IS, with no warranty expressed or implied. I encourage interested buyers to inspect the vehicle PRIOR to purchase, as the vehicle is offered AS IS. I can have the car delivered for $1 per mile for up to 500 miles, and an additional 40 cents per mile for anything over 500 miles, or you can arrange and pay your own shipping costs from zip 30553. Any questions, please call 770-596-2333. Thank you.
