For sale is a 2001 Honda Goldwing GL1800 with the optional ABS brakes. Yes, the miles are high......Yes, it's a very nice bike. It could possibly pass for a bike with 25,000 miles. As you can see by my E-Bay history, I buy & sell a fair amount of motorcycles (& motorcycle parts) and every now & then I find an unusual bike and use it as my driver. That's what this is. I was told the owner before me drove the bike back & forth to work every day, weather permitting....which was a 258 mile round trip! I bought this bike April of this year and I have done some reconditioning and have added some equipment. I've driven it over 4,000 miles. It runs, shifts, stops and performs just like a 25,000 mile bike and it needs NO reconditioning to start driving today. It doesn't smoke, use oil or leak any fluids and everything works like it's supposed to. *Maintenance is the key, the coolant has already been flushed, the fluid in both the brake master cylinders as well as the clutch master cylinder has been changed. The brakes pads were replaced just before I bought it and the rear end has been serviced with new fluid. I changed the oil & filter today. The title is free & clear.
